Being a  father of 4 there's a lot of tiny helping hands in my kitchen.  When I'm not in my kitchen I love to walk and bike ride with my children on the local trails.  I also love to try new restaurants, especially local smaller businesses, sometimes the best food comes from the small establishments tucked away in the corners of shopping centers.

Travel can be organized or spur of the moment.  When I was a child I was fortunate to travel to a great many countries, at that time it was the fun of being with my extended family. Later travel was about spending time with friends, it was less organized and more than once I found myself on a plane no pre plans and at times without luggag

Later travel was about spending time with friends, it was less organized and more than once I found myself on a plane no pre plans and at times without luggage.  I was fortunate to have great friends and we had many a great adventure with plenty of stories to tell.  Now travel takes a different turn, with my children it is more about their experience and showing them new things, for business it is more structured and organized . But the one thing about travel, whether in another state, or another country, it is about the experience of the local culture.  It is a chance to get out of the usual box and find something new and different. Most of all it is about the chance to meet new people and make new friends

Since the launch of large format tiles and the ability to print,  tile can now be used everywhere and anywhere in the home.  It can look like wallpaper on the dinning room walls, wainscoting in the entry,  wood on your living room floor,  and,  can make for a beautiful centerpiece on a kitchen island.   Both practical, low maintenance, and hard wearing tile has stood the test of time.
